Small and Large Shares, 15 weeks
It’s pretty much just what it sounds like! We provide you with a box of awesome veggies each week. It’s a great opportunity for you to explore the seasonal veggie world, one week at a time. Our CSA season is 15 weeks from the start date, which is usually around the middle of May. A small box contains 5-7 items, and a large box typically contains 7-10 different items. And, we definitely switch it up so you aren’t bombarded with exactly the same things each week. If we miss a market one week, it will be extended by a week for you to guarantee your 15 boxes.

The Details
When you sign up, you will have the option of picking up your CSA box at our Asheville City Market on Saturday or at the farm in Old Fort on Tuesday. We will email you to let you know when the start date is, it is typically the 3rd week of May.

Considerations
We offer two options for a CSA box. The small share is an average of $17 in produce each week. The large share is an average of $30 in veggies each week. The large share is great for a couple that enjoys cooking most days at home or a family that’s on the go and isn’t always cooking at home. If you are new to CSA’s and feel a little intimidated trying to maintain all the veggies each week, we suggest you try the small share. The veggies are super fresh and last many times longer than any store bought vegetables. We request that you stick to the commitment of picking up the box on the same day each week. If you will be out of town or can’t make it, consider gifting a friend! Otherwise, all forgotten boxes will be donated at the end of market. We do not reimburse for absences.
