“U-pick flower farm” means that, for a small fee, customers receive a container to fill with an array of blooms from our field. You take home your cut flowers afterward, creating your own bountiful floral bouquet.
Trips to you-pick flower farms are an opportunity to embrace the beauty of our Western North Carolina nature, spend quality time with loved ones, and bring joy home with fresh-cut flowers. It’s also a delightful way to support local agriculture in the greater Asheville area. The fields are often alive with pollinators, adding to the enchanting atmosphere!

What should I wear?
You will be visiting a working farm. The ground can be uneven and muddy at times, especially the pathways. The sun can be strong, there will be all sorts of bugs. Best to wear shoes you would wear on a hike or bring a pair of rain boots if it’s been raining that week to be the most comfortable. It’s not necessary to, but a suggestion if you are concerned. You might like to have a hat, too. Most people spend around an hour, so consider this when preparing.
What should I bring?
We provide everything you would need to harvest your bouquets. If you are planning to purchase a bucket, consider having a box or crate to hold your bucket of flowers in for the ride home.
Cost
The cost of u-pick flowers is based on the size of the vessel you fill:
Pint, $16
Quart, $25
2-gallon bucket, $75
We provide snips to use and jars to pick into, and then wrap your bouquet to go. If you want to keep the jar, it’s $2 extra. If you purchase a bucket, the bucket is included in the price.
Can i bring my dog/pet?
Sorry, no pets. We have 3 very large working farm dogs who do not like other dogs. It is also very difficult to pick flowers one handed. Thank you.
